Software programs promise to identify the personality traits of job candidates based on short videos: With the help of Artificial Intelligence an applicant's voice, mimics and gestures are analyzed. In the United States, this kind of software is widely used. And also in Europe, corporates are experimenting with this technology in order to improve their recruiting processes. We scrutinized the product of a German start-up and wanted to find out whether it actually makes the recruitment process more objective and fairer.
