In collaboration with reporters of NDR we analyzed hundreds of thousands of German police reports in order to see in which cases the nationality of aggressors is mentioned by the police. There are no general rules when and how to describe the origin of people mentioned in these reports. Thus there are huge differences between states and also police departments.
